Police in Melbourne are investigating the discovery of a man’s body at Lyndale Secondary College in Dandenong North. The staff member who found the body alerted the authorities while opening the school gates early in the morning. Although the death was initially treated as suspicious, Detective Inspector Dean Thomas later stated that it is now being treated as non-suspicious.

According to Detective Inspector Thomas, the investigation is still in its early stages. The police are working to piece together the man’s movements and determine whether he died at the school or if his body was brought to the scene. The man, believed to be of African appearance and in his 20s, has not yet been formally identified.

Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area between 7.30 pm on Friday and 7 am on the day of the discovery to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers.
